Growing up surrounded by family businesses, marketing was second nature to Krystal. After graduating with a bachelor degree in Graphic Design in 2007, Krystal began her career designing marketing material for a horticultural company in Melbourne called Macbird Floraprint and later a graphic designer / photographer for Zart Art.
In 2010 she returned to her family home in Mildura and began a Bachelor of Business (marketing communications). At the same time she became a consultant/account manager for Sunnyland Press, a local printing company. Here she worked with clients to identify their needs and develop print based marketing solutions. She finished up at Sunnyland in 2017 to take maternity leave.
In 2011 Krystal also became the Marketing officer at Walder Real Estate and Resolution Finance. Here she recreated a new brand for the companies and facilitated a journey that repositioned them in a way that generated much successes. She finished up in 2015 to put more attention on Sunnyland Press and her growing family.
In 2019 Krystal became passionate about the power of stories to connect and engage. A job came up as a photojournalist at the Sunraysia Daily so she grabbed the opportunity and captured the stories of Sunraysia through the lens. She continued in this role as a freelancer until October 2021 and appreciated the adventures that were had as she learned about a range of issues affecting the Sunraysia region.
January 2020 Krystal became the Marketing Co-ordinator for a local digital marketing company. Here she learnt the ins and outs of digital marketing while the world went into Covid mayhem. In 2022 Krystal founded Whisk Creative after she identified a need for marketing management that achieves long term business growth. A service for people who are busy running a successful business and need someone trustworthy to take care of all their marketing requirements. Krystal enjoys selecting people to work with that are inspiring and creating positive change for the world.
